After a two week layoff due to a sparring injury as well as a split decision loss in the Silver Gloves Regional, Bobby Bryant of Olive Branch, Ms, will be back in action this Saturday, March 3, at the Eagles Club in Sikeston, Mo.

After struggling with weight issues during preparation for the Regional Silver Gloves, the decision has been made to move up to the 125 lb weight division for future fights.

Currently, Bobby’s weight is an even 123 lbs and he looks clean and crisp in a recent public sparring session.

Bobby’s younger brother, Joey Bryant (Olive Branch) will face the younger Daley at 85 lbs. Wade Roberts (Olive Branch) will face Tyler Latomeer of Dexter, MO. The card will also feature some of Missouri's finest amateur MMA fighters.

Bryant Outpoints Nichols in Excitiing Bout! (11-8-06)
Fight of the Night at Knox Arena!
Last Saturday night at the Knox Arena in Olvie Branch, MS, the Olive Branch Boxing Club put on an outstanding show. In one of the most exciting contests fo the night Olive Branch Boxing Club's Bobby Bryant faced off with close friend Brian Nichols from Pearl, MS. Although tenative early, both fighters displayed emense talent. Both were crisp and clean as they made their way through three, one and a half minute rounds. However, it may have been Bryant’s activity throughout the entire match and his ability to make Nichols miss that gave him the final edge on the judges scorecards. This was a close fight throughout, but Bryant seemed to settle in and hit stride in the second round perhaps pulling ahead. Nichols, who rallied late in the third, fought strong to the end. Overall it was a good display for Bryant against the more experienced Nichols who, himself, showed great agility and skill. Both fighters performed well above standard and treated the crowd to a great match. Watch for both of these guys in the future. Below are results from 11/4 fights From OBC Tourney.
